The paiting that was made by 130 attendees of the 'ontmoetingsdag' on June 11, 2005 now finally receives a place in the same hospital where 23 severily wounded Dutch survivors were brought in.

Surviving dependants of the 36 Dutch victims of the tsunami have revealed a monument for the memory of their loved ones which were killed in 2004, in Asia during nature violence. This is the first memorial that has been revealed outside of South-East Asia.
